Kathryn (Kat) Sheplavy is the Product Manager for Reader Experience at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where she draws from her diverse background in media, business, and product development in order to drive company alignment and strategy. Her work is centered around unifying The Philadelphia Inquirer’s brand, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to drive innovation and deliver on the Inquirer’s mission to become an indispensable source of news and information for the Philadelphia community. She has held several different roles at The Inquirer, including Product Manager – Acquisition, Product Manager – Advertising, and Digital Sales Specialist. Prior to her tenure at The Inquirer, she worked in digital sales, managing major accounts at Steen Outdoor Advertising and Dex Media. Kat has a dual degree in Marketing and Communications from Shippensburg University. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, bullet journaling and rewatching old episodes of The Office.
