Kate Shannon is the Deputy Editor of ATK Reviews, the product review team at the multimedia food publishing company America’s Test Kitchen. She helps manage and edit a team of authors that specializes in rigorous, objective, hands-on evaluations of kitchen equipment and ingredients. Prior to joining ATK, Kate earned a culinary certificate through Boston University’s Metropolitan College—a program developed by Julia Child and Jacques Pépin—and worked as both a line cook and a cheesemonger. She also holds a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University and a M.A. in English from Boston College.
