Joseph Lichterman is a manager of editorial and digital strategy at the Lenfest Institute for Journalism. He writes Solution Set, a weekly report on innovation in journalism.
Prior to joining the Institute, he was a staff writer at the Nieman Journalism Lab at Harvard University. He also previously reported for Reuters in its Detroit bureau. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Joseph was editor in chief of The Michigan Daily, the university’s independent student newspaper.
