Today, he is a news executive for Gannett and the USA TODAY Network and an adjunct faculty member at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies. Previously, he was the Managing Director and Chief Content Officer for Journal Media Group and Vice President/Content for the newspaper division of The E.W. Scripps Company. Earlier in his career, he led newsrooms in Akron, Ohio, Evansville, Ind. and Tallahassee, Fla.
