Martha L. Williams is a media industry author, speaker, and consultant. She is CEO of the World Newsmedia Network and owner of the Data & AI for Media Week conferences in New York, San Francisco, London, and Hong Kong, where Artificial Intelligence is a main focus. She founded and has organized the Data & AI for Media events since 2013 – the first and only Big Data conference for media companies, drawing media executives from every continent. She was a research associate at the University of Oxford's Reuters Institute from 2012 to 2014, focusing her research on Big Data for media companies. She has extensive news media research and events experience, having published the Global Digital Media Trendbook for 11 years and having organized dozens of industry conferences and study tours around the world.
