Jennifer is the former Editor-in-Chief of The Bold Italic, Gannett's five-year experiment in creating an innovative city publication in San Francisco. She ran a millennial newsroom where the focus was on personal storytelling, humor, visual pieces and targeted news stories to mirror the big conversations in SF back to the city. She's currently a new media consultant working on a “best practices” research piece for The American Press Institute regarding millennials and the media and she's a freelance writer for Rolling Stone, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Refinery29. She dreams of starting up another media experiment in pop culture storytelling soon.
