Curt Chandler teaches multimedia storytelling and entrepreneurial journalism at Penn State University. He was the editor for online innovation at post-gazette.com in Pittsburgh before becoming a full time teacher. He earned a BSJ in news writing from Northwestern University, but his four decades of professional experience is primarily in visual journalism. He is a video trainer for the National Press Photographers Association and has been a multimedia mentor in the ONA student newsroom for more than a decade. He is the co-founder of the Centre County News Initiative, a startup designed to connect audiences and local news sources.
