Aarohi Sheth is a multimedia journalist. She specializes in hyperlocal, community-centered journalism as well as features, profiles and audio storytelling. Her interests lie in writing about identity, arts & culture and the ways that entertainment serves as a lens for issues surrounding racial equity, diversity and inclusion. She hopes to use journalism to invest in the South Asian community and other underrepresented groups. Her work has appeared in NPR, L.A. TACO, Texas Monthly, TheWrap and Houstonia Magazine, to name a few. At Annenberg Media, she was a member of the outlet’s Equity Board: a Poynter funded project that serves as a diversity and inclusion desk. Right now, she works as an editorial fellow at Currently, a weather service platform centered around joy, safety and climate justice. She is also one of Vox Workshop’s fellows. When Aarohi isn’t writing, you can find her soaking in the sun with a good book.
