Ted Bailey is the Chief Executive Officer, Founder and Chairman of Dataminr. Ted founded Dataminr in 2009 as the first technology company to build a bridge between the emerging real-time front edge of Twitter and the unique needs of the business professional. Ted earned a BA from Yale University in American Studies, with a concentration on technology's impact on society. Ted's career focus on disruptive technologies in the information space grew out of his academic interests and served as the inspiration for starting Dataminr. Prior to founding Dataminr, Ted has worked in the emerging space of social media analytics in strategy and product roles for public sector organizations, Government agencies and technology start-ups in New York.
