Sara Konrad Baranowski is editor of the twice-weekly Times Citizen in Iowa Falls. In that position, she’s led the newsroom through a convergence of print and radio reporting; overseen redesigns of the newspaper; launched two digital newsletters; and overhauled the website twice. As an editor of a rural newspaper her other duties include writing, editing, photography, videography, sound editing, social media management and – on occasion – newspaper delivery.
Baranowski earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Northern Iowa, and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Iowa. Her interests these days include audience engagement, digital storytelling tools, and the incredible things that can happen when women support each other.
