Ryan is Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Integration at NBCUniversal. He was the product lead behind the enterprise collaboration tool Newsconnect that has been adopted by over 1,000 journalists across diverse workflows within the company. He was part of the founding team behind TODAY’s Orange Room and worked to integrate broadcast, digital and social media stakeholders across the business. Previously, Ryan was the NBC News Senior Director of Digital Media where he successfully managed editorial integrations with strategic partners like Re/Code and NowThis and spearheaded social media ethics and distribution best practices within the organization. Ryan grew from within the NBCUniversal family, beginning his career as a Page in 2001 and quickly moving up the ranks within NBC News.
