Rocio Tirado was born and raised in Tacna, Peru but has been calling New Orleans home since 1999. She studied business administration. she started community involvement over 10 years ago. She’s the chief operator officer for jambalaya News Louisiana, the co founder for Murphy Education and Sports Foundation and the General Manager for Jambalaya soccer league. Rocio is hosting an online radio show The Causeway NOLA.
Rocio has a passion for community and has been part of the Voice of the Community. Rocío believes and is very passionate about volunteering and she currently coaches 8 year old girls.
Rocio lives in Metairie and is a passionate single mother of two teenage boys.
