Rob has held many print and digital newsroom positions during the past 25 years. He has worked for seven newspapers in three states, and is currently the audience analyst at The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky., where he studies web metrics and offers advice to the newsroom. Rob also has worked as a web producer with a focus on multimedia, and is one of Gannett Company's newspaper division's senior authorities in online video. He is well versed in multiple digital video topics from shooting, to asset management and strategy, to his specialty — live video production. In 2013 he was part of a team that helped train live and iPhone video production to Gannett newsrooms around the country. Rob also has been a social media coordinator and copy editor in Louisville, as well as a page designer, managing editor, Sunday editor, assistant metro editor and reporter at various other newspapers.
