A new media and start-up veteran with a background in Washington and Chicago politics, Mike has founded or led half a dozen new media start-ups as an editor or business manager. Mike’s projects and reporting has been profiled by Columbia Journalism Review, Le Monde, Business Insider and others. Prior to earning an M.B.A. at University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mike was a political operative and public affairs consultant in Chicago and Washington, D.C., during which he served terms at the U.S. Department of Energy, Congress, Clinton-Gore 1996 and Gore-Lieberman 2000.
