Marcus Mabry

Marcus oversees all mobile and off-platform efforts across existing and emerging platforms and products, including CNN.com and the core CNN app. Before CNN, he worked at Twitter, where he ran the Moments product for North America. Prior, he launched The New York Times' Watching section, which highlighted noteworthy stories from around the internet. He was also a video anchor, business editor and national editor at the Times. Before that he was a Washington, Paris and Johannesburg correspondent and chief of correspondents at Newsweek. He is the past president of the Overseas Press Club of America, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and author of two books: Twice as Good: Condoleezza Rice and Her Path to Power and White Bucks and Blackeyed Peas: Coming of Age Black in White America. He graduated from Stanford lives in New York with his partner and two sons.
