Kylar Gray is a senior at Spelman College majoring in English with a focus on Digital Media. As the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Spelman’s Blueprint, Gray has played a vital role in revitalizing the campus newspaper, enhancing its digital presence, and fostering a community of student writers. She oversees a team of writers, produces articles, and utilizes social media to expand the publication’s reach.
Gray’s digital media skills include online research, creative and social media writing, blogging, and web design. She is proficient in various software tools and has basic HTML coding knowledge. Additionally, she is fluent in intermediate French.
Demonstrating her passion for journalism, Gray is a fellow for Open Campus Media’s HBCU Student Journalism Network, where she reports on higher education, participates in workshops, and collaborates with other HBCU fellows. Her experience extends to social media management, creating original online content, and monitoring digital insights for Uniquely You Summit.
