I’m a sophomore at Kauai High on the island of Kauai in the State of Hawaii. I first discovered my passion for journalism in my middle school media productions class, and it has grown tremendously since. I have been very fortunate to tell a numerous amount of stories. Including a shark ambassador that lost his leg to a shark and non-profit organization that is working to restore a historical river. I am grateful to be able to work with SRL to amplify Gen Z and student voices. Especially in these times with the COVID-19 pandemic and various racial and social justice movements.
