As the technologist at CUNY-J, Jue integrates different scales of tech in projects and classrooms. To her, tech means anything between starting a tumblr to building a NodeJS app. She has led a product development class in the Social Journalism program, coached students through data- and web-related inquiries, and built tools and sites for faculty members. She contributes to the rethinking of a contemporary journalism curriculum. Before joining CUNY-J, she was a designer and front-end developer at Development Seed, a creative tech consultancy in DC, building impactful, open-sourced data tools and interfaces.
