Erica Smith is a senior editor overseeing digital, features and sports at The Virginian-Pilot and Daily Press, and the newsroom at Coast OBX. She also is a trust coach with Trusting News and teaches at two high school journalism workshops. In 2018, she received her master’s degree in entrepreneurial technology.
