Chelsea Brasted is a New Orleans-based journalist who most recently served as the city columnist for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, prior to its sale to The Advocate. Brasted's experiences at The Times-Picayune include arts and entertainment coverage, investigations into the city's cultural institutions and wading through (lots) of floodwater. Since the newspaper sale, she's taken on freelance reporting for a variety of publications.
