Carla Nudel is a communicator, journalist and trainer. She is the Argentinean Ambassador of Chicas Poderosas, a global community that inspires change by promoting women’s development in media so that all voices can be heard. Previously she conducted an investigation on radio audience engagement, after which the became digital content coordinator in Radio Mitre, main AM station in Argentina. She is currently a Teaching Fellow at Google News Lab, where she gives training on innovative tools to help journalists all across the country search, verify and visualize stories. What she enjoys the most is working on collaborative multimedia journalistic projects that shed light on underrepresented issues, such as the investigation on access to sexual and reproductive rights during the pandemic she’s currently leading through Chicas Poderosas.
