Arin Jemerson is currently working as a social media manager for the New York Amsterdam News as part of the Instagram Local News Fellowship program. She is a 2020 graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism with an emphasis on convergence investigative reporting and a minor in Spanish. Along with being an IG fellow, Arin spent this summer creating social media content and managing the Facebook page for Missouri Information Corps, a pop-up newsroom created in response to the COVID-19 public health crisis.
