Andy is a full-stack web developer for NBC News Digital Group's Breaking News. Previously he was a News Applications Developer for the Chicago Tribune, creating data visualizations and building newsroom tools. Andy has also worked at the Boston Globe, the St. Petersburg Times and The New York Times Regional Media Group, where his work was cited in the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News. He is also a comedian and screenwriter, and has performed in the Orlando Indie Comedy Festival, the 10,000 Laughs Festival and the Cleveland Comedy Festival. Andy hosts “Working It,” a weekly podcast and monthly live show where folks tell stories about their jobs, which can be heard at workingitpodcast.com. Gawker called Andy’s Twitter antics “impressive” and “terrifying” in the same article, so follow him @andymboyle. He currently lives in Chicago.
