Amy is a hyper-local journalist in Estherville, Iowa (on the Minnesota border) and creator of the E’ville Podcast, a news and culture podcast coming in mid-2018. Part of Generation X, Amy has been reporting and chronicling life in various forms since the ’80s, but only recently came to journalism as a career. In 2014, Amy joined the documentary filmmaker Bill Lichtenstein and a group of parents and professionals who made up Keep All Students Safe, and interviewed and vetted speakers for Senator Harkin’s 2014 rollout of the Keeping All Students Safe Act, while also creating media products for the cause.
