Alexandra March is the Deputy Director of Audience for The New York Times’s Opinion section, where she works on audience development, editorial product strategy and more. Before she was in this role, Alexandra was the newsletter editor for the department. Prior to The Times, she worked at HuffPost, first as the newsletter editor, then later as the engagement editor. She also served as the editorial director of audience engagement at Mic, where she led the team that managed newsletters, the app and emerging platforms. She kicked off her career as a reporter at The New Haven Register, where she covered the shoreline and the city of New Haven. Alexandra graduated from the University of Connecticut with degrees in journalism and psychology. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and daughter.
