Jordan D. Brown is an aspiring journalist from Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is a senior studying multimedia journalism at Morgan State University. She currently serves as the Editor in Chief of the student newspaper, The MSU Spokesman, and Vice President of her university’s National Association of Black Journalists chapter. In Summer 2022, she was a breaking news intern for USA Today. Prior to USA Today, she interned at Patch through the Dow Jones News Fund digital media program. Jordan also is a recipient of the National Association of Black Journalists HBCU (Historically Black College and Universities) scholarship for her academic excellence and commitment to journalism. Throughout her college matriculation, she has maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in print journalism and continue to grow her photography business. Outside of journalism, Jordan enjoys photography, basketball and spending time with her family.
