Anika is a senior off-platform producer on CNN Digital’s Mobile/Off-platform Team. Her role includes programming for CNN’s channels on Apple News and Google Newsstand; programming CNN’s main app and mobile web sites; and producing a podcast. Her journalism career includes time as a reporter, when she covered natural disasters, Florida’s all-important home insurance industry, crime, religion and corporate bankruptcy. As a digital producer, she has helped put together packages on subjects including a massive Florida propane plant explosion, Tiger Woods, ISIS and the 2016 election. Anika is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She spends her spare time reading, cooking, napping and complaining about Atlanta traffic.
