Join us for a kickoff breakfast meetup hosted at the Reno Gazette-Journal, and hear from several members of the team on launching a whole new brand to reach new audiences.
In the past 18 months, the RGJ has launched The Reno Memo, a free email newsletter targeting local millennials that gives subscribers the news they should know with a little snark, and relaunched Reno.com, a social-first and mobile-first website aimed at out-of-town and new-to-town millennials that breaks down things to do in Reno-Tahoe and introduces them to the community and its economy. Hear from Audience Analyst Caren Roblin, Watchdog Content Coach Brian Duggan and Community Content Editor Brett McGinness about how they’re reaching new audiences online—and why it’s important.
