ONA Local is coming to Charlotte, and we want to meet you!
ONA Local is a global network of volunteer-run meetup groups hosting networking and training events for local journalism communities. We’re launching our newest outpost in Charlotte, and we want to hear what makes the digital journalism community here awesome.
Come out to meet other journalists, editors, technologists, producers, storytellers, developers, media entrepreneurs, engagement editors, and more who support digital news delivery and tell us what you’d like to see from the ONA community in Charlotte. We’ll get the first round; you bring your best ideas for the next ONA Charlotte event.
About ONA Charlotte:
ONA Charlotte is a local meetup group made up of writers, editors, innovators, photographers, producers, academics, entrepreneurs and technologists who produce news for and support digital news delivery systems. We’re the Charlotte outpost of the Online News Association, the world’s largest association of digital journalists. ONA’s mission is to inspire innovation and excellence among journalists to better serve the public. ONA Local programs are generously supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
