One more chance to enter the 2025 Online Journalism Awards

No matter what else is going on in your world right now, we do have this good news for you: You’re getting one more week to finish your entries for the 2025 Online Journalism Awards. 

Explore the award categories and submit your work by the extended deadline on Thursday, May 22, 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Beyond reaching the communities directly impacted, we know how important it is for the broader public—including educators, funders, professional peers, influencers and more—to see why your journalism is essential and how it comes together. When you’re recognized in the OJAs, it’s clear your team is setting the standard for excellence in online news. You will be in great company with recent honorees like The Boston Globe, ProPublica, Civil Eats, STAT and The Markup, to name a few.

One more thing: We’re looking for a few more volunteer Screeners and Judges to join the review process this year (plus, get a one-year membership to ONA). We especially want to hear from people with experience and interest in the investigative journalism, online commentary and topical reporting categories.
