FAQ: Who can become an ONA board member?
The election process for the ONA Board of Directors spans about three months. To be considered a candidate, an ONA member must be nominated by another ONA member and meet five eligibility requirements. The call for nominations to fill seats on the 2024-25 board will open July 5.
The board sets ONA’s strategic direction and follows BoardSource’s 10 essential responsibilities of nonprofit boards to guide its work.
