How do traditional standards change when you’re covering a breaking news story with continual updates of fragments of the story? How do you vet sources contacted through Facebook, MySpace and other social networks?
These are just some of the issues that will be addressed at "Upholding and updating ethics in a digital world," a one-day seminar hosted by the American Press Institute, Monday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., at the Toronto Star, 1 Yonge St., Toronto.
