ONADC: BBC

An ONA Local event, hosted by ONA DC

Please join the team from the U.S. edition of BBC online to learn more about the cross-platform successes — and challenges — the venerable broadcaster has been finding in the digital space.

Team members will share how they have innovated web first video content which is now shaping how the BBC is thinking about news video for television. They will also talk about the role of a public service broadcaster in a competitive commercial environment, and how the digital team competes for and marshals the resources of its global newsgathering operation for the US operation.

Thanks to our friends at Bingham for providing their lovely meeting space (veteran ONADC attendees will recall a successful meetup here when we heard from Homicide Watch D.C.), as well as Claudia Milne and Daniel Nasaw at BBC for shepherding what we know will be an interesting program.

See you in April!

— Tiffany, Matt, Jessica and Joey
