Some people sleep with their smartphones. Others check their email inbox first thing in the morning. Many absolutely have to check their email over the weekend or face hundreds upon hundreds of messages come Monday.
Does this sound familiar? With mobile devices in our pockets and purses — or even around our wrists — it seems we can rarely disconnect from work, and it is becoming that much harder to have a work-life balance. The idea is simple: Let’s answer how you can balance the things that matter when you’re always carrying your work with you. Each panelist will talk about how life has changed with mobile (the good and the bad) and how they juggle the things that matter.

The event takes place at Lenny’s Deli (2379 Westwood Blvd., Los Angeles) on Saturday, Aug. 27. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and the discussion will begin at 10:30 a.m. A Q&A will follow immediately after.
TRANSPORTATION
Street and lot parking is available at Lenny’s Deli. The Westwood/Rancho Park metro stop on the Expo Line is also about a six-minute walk from the restaurant.
