Selection Proccess Begins for Second Women's Leadership Academy

By on February 5, 2016

The application period for the second ONA-Poynter Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media has closed. We received more than 400 applications, and 28 finalists will be selected to participate in this year’s program. A team of people including ONA and Poynter staff, journalists and alumnae from our first class in 2015 will be part of the selection team and will review each and every application.

We plan to notify all applicants of the results of the process, whether they are selected or not, as soon as the selection process is complete, likely by early March. The Academy will be held the week of May 1 at the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Fla.
