Learn how to protect yourself and your newsroom from digital security threats at ONACamp at the Indianapolis Star on April 26. This ONACamp is a daylong training and design camp which will offer practical help in keeping journalists and their work secure.

Get involved at ONA14. Apply to report in the Student Newsroom or mentor student reporters, or volunteer for the video team, social team or as a general volunteer. Bonus: all attend the conference in Chicago for free.

Job Fair in D.C.

The National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Washington Association of Black Journalists and the AAJA D.C. chapter will hold a joint job fair April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entry is $10.

Jeremiah Patterson

Jeremiah was ONA's Digital Manager from 2012 to the fall of 2016 and was responsible for ONA's collection of websites, including journalists.org, conference websites, the membership center, awards platforms and more. Before joining ONA, he served as a web producer and content developer at The Wildlife Society, maintaining the organization’s website, email marketing and other online services. An Ohio native and media enthusiast, Jeremiah grew up with a deep interest in video production and graphic design. He now focuses in user experience and human-centered design.
